北京市顺义牛栏山第一中学，简称牛栏山一中，始建于1950年，1963年被确定为北京市市属重点中学；牛栏山一中位于北京市顺义区北部、占地面积18.8万平方米，建筑面积13.5万平方米, 绿化面积4万多平方米。

Beijing Shunyi Niulanshan First Secondary School, referred to as Niulanshan First Secondary School, founded in 1950, was identified by the city of Beijing as a key school in 1963. Niulanshan First Secondary School is located in the north of Shunyi District, Beijing. It covers an area of 188,000 square meters, with a construction area of 135,000 square meters and a green area of more than 40,000 square meters.

在学校旧址元圣宫旁，在“以德立校，全面育人”办学思想和“自觉育人，自主发展”育人理念的指导下，牛栏山一中始终关注学生发展和整体素质提高。

“健全人格，首在体育”，重视体育教育，实现学生的德智体美劳全面发展，是牛栏山一中的教育理念之一。为实现这一目的，学校建有运动场、足球场、篮球场、室内体育馆等体育运动场所，体育馆内又包含有游泳、乒乓球、羽毛球、排球、篮球、体操场馆。每天下午的休息时间，同学们的汗水挥洒在运动场馆，欢声笑语声声回响，加油呐喊振聋发聩，辅助他们打造出健康的体魄、坚强的心智、积极的心态。

"Sound personality is a priority in physical education". At Niulanshan First Secondary School, we instigate the importance of physical education,in realizing the comprehensive development of students' moral, intellectual, physical, and artistic educational concepts. To achieve this goal, the school has built sports grounds, football fields, basketball courts, a world class indoor gymnasium and other sporting facilities. The gymnasium has a swimming pool, table tennis, badminton, volleyball and basketball courts as well as other gymnastics facilities. Every afternoon during the break time, the students sweat in the sports venues, with cheers and laughter echoing in the background, the loud cheering and shouting encourages them to build healthy bodies, strong minds, and develop a positive attitude.

美育是心灵的教育，为培养学生认识美、爱好美和创造美的能力，我校建有集舞蹈、音乐、表演、扎染、传统书画等教室于一体的艺术楼，有丰富多样的课程供同学们选择。搭建高水平的艺术平台，培养学生欣赏美、创造美的能力，让同学们能够学有所长，陶冶情操、浸润于美的海洋。

Aesthetic education is the education of the soul. In order to cultivate students' ability to recognize beauty, love beauty and create beauty, our school has built an art building integrating dance, music, performance, tie-dyeing, traditional painting and calligraphy and other classrooms.
